Both organized and private riding is provided on the ranch year round. Riders may arrive to camp anytime after noon on Friday; the rides begin Saturday at 10:00 am, and conclude Sunday at 3:00 p.m. Gypsum Hills Trail Rides also provide special guided day and weekend rides for groups of 20 or more upon request. Easy access to the campground and plenty of shade in camp make this an excellent vacation destination for equine enthusiasts. The Larson Family prides themselves in demonstrating southern Kansas's hospitality, mouth-watering meals, and memorable rides lasting a lifetime.
Rules of the Ride
1. Reservations must be postmarked seven days in advance. Confirmations will be sent by email or snail mail. Reservations after deadline, additional $5 person will be charged.
2. Wristbands will be issued at check-in and must be worn for the duration of the weekend. Everyone in camp must have a wristband.
3. Arrival time: after 12:00 p.m. on Friday. Departure before 5:00 p.m.
on Sunday.
4. In case of cancellation, reservations may be transferred to another rider.
5. Each rider will provide their own mount, feed, tack, camping equipment, etc. Each rider must provide Saturday Lunch meal.
6. Participate at your own risk. The owners are not responsible in
case of accident or injury to person or beast.
7. No stallions are allowed.
8. Dogs are discouraged from attending. All dogs must be kept on a leash at all times.
9. Immunize your equine against influenza prior to the ride.
10. Alcohol is not allowed on the trail. No Firearms in camp or on trail.
11. Generators must shut down between hours of 10:00 p.m. and
6:00 a.m.
12. All rides depart at 10:00 a.m.
